About Me

I am a Project Manager/GIS Developer and partner at Line 45, a small company based in Gaylord, Michigan offering application development, GIS services, and software consulting. We specialize in developing solutions for companies, non-profits, and government agencies in the environmental and natural resource sectors.

I first began using maps for navigation on family canoe trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota. I continued exploring the backcountry and honing my map reading skills at Earlham College where I was involved with the Wilderness Program - first as a student and then as an instructor. Needless to say, when I began using GIS on the job I was hooked. I enjoy bringing the power of GIS analysis and the beauty of great visualization to client projects.

Throughout my career I’ve held positions requiring a variety of skill sets including project management, web/print map making, technical writing, and data analysis. I enjoy building tools, web maps, and other visualizations to help drive insights.

Feel free to get in touch. I'd love to hear from you!
